Good Product, Awful assembly instructions
I spent over two hours trying to assemble this rack but eventually gave up in frustration. The assembly instructions were as clear as mud. An engineer friend looked at it and had it assembled in 10 minutes without even looking at the instructions. It turns out that there is a very critical step not mentioned in the instructions. Believe it or not, there is a right way and wrong way to connect the 2 hoops. The hoops are formed from 3 pieces and so there are 3 screw holes and 3 joints in each finished hoop. When joining the two hoops together YOU MUST ALIGN THE 2 SCREW HOLES AND THE 2 JOINTS. I had aligned the screw holes to join the hoops but had not aligned the joints, so nothing lined up after that and construction was impossible. Now that it has been constructed it functions very well and is very strong. I gave the product 5 stars to redress the imbalance caused by people who dissed the product because of their frustration with the assembly instructions. This is a product review...

Good value for the price
This isn't the greatest log loop, but it does the job. I have completely loaded it several times with heavy oak and it hasn't bent, broken, or came loose. It has a matte black finish, is made of tubular steel. The loop part is made of 3 separate arcs that are bolted together to form the circles. The screw holes coincide with where the two loops touch at the top and connect with the legs at the bottom, so there are minimal screw holes. What with the narrow tubing and screws it isn't as nice as a welded unit, but it had free shipping, came in a box, and had a great price.Bottom line -- it is a good price, sturdy and function, but not the most attractive. All things considered and knowing what I now know I would still buy it.

Does the job
I purchased this log hoop because my parents were getting rid of their wood since they decided to convert to a gas fireplace. I decided to get a firepit and make use of their wood, so I needed a place to store it all. It was a bit of a pain to put together because the hoops did not line up right, so my husband had to help me. All in all, the price was reasonable and it does the job, so I would recommend it.

Just what I was hoping for
I got this to hang a bird play gym that probably weighs about 20 lbs, and it works great for the job. I didn't want to make a lot of ceiling holes to hang the gym, so took a chance on this stand to be portable from room to room. It is sturdy enough to do the job, and light enough to be easily moved. They make a stand that looks almost exactly like this one but has a 3 armed base, which would not be nearly as stable and sturdy. This one has a 4 armed base, which I would highly recommend if you are thinking of getting one.

A very serviceable stand
My wife having bought a parakeet and a large cage, needed a stand. I ordered two of these Tubular Steel Bird Cage Stands, and was impressed at how quickly they were delivered (about 5 total days).The four star rating (I wish I could leave 'four and one-half') is simply because the instructions were so poor. Fortunately, it is pretty much a no-brainer to set it up. It is confusing because they give you more hardware than you need and, again, no real instructions. However, once put together (you will need a Phillips screwdriver and pliers) the stand is sturdy, and we hung the bird cage with confidence.UPDATE June 19, 2009: Two months ago we ordered yet another bird stand, and again it was very quickly delivered. Good job!ANOTHER UPDATE September 23, 2009: Since we got a small 'country house', we needed yet more bird stands. Ordered two more, and delivered very quickly. Simply great service.

hanging bird cage stand
Great stand for the price, easy to put together. Just had to wedge some cardboard between the legs to keep it from wobbling a little, but stand is very stable and will not tip.

Great Quality!

Fall Tech Lanyard
Product looks and works great!It gives one the feeling of security and confidence in the knowledge that in the event of a fall, it will control the descent and save your derrier from severe pounding and your savings account from being drained (if you have no medical insurance; perhaps even if you did). And there's really not much one could add after that.

Easy to use and could save a life
Does exactly what we need it to, keeps our workers safe when working at heights. Only reason for not 5 stars is that the clips would be great if they were slightly larger as it would be nice to be able to clip directly over a railing.
